Welcome to the “Rating All Pasta Dishes” series, where we’ll try the most famous sauces of Italian cuisine together! Ingredients

– 200 g Dried pasta (spaghetti, fettuccine, etc.)
– 50 g Unsalted butter
– 40 g Parmesan cheese
– Pasta water
– ½ tsp Salt

Instructions

  1. Cook pasta: Boil in salted water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain.
  2. Melt butter: In the empty pot, melt butter over low heat until just foamy.
  3. Combine: Return pasta to pot with butter. Toss, adding Parmesan gradually. Use reserved pasta water to emulsify.
  4. Serve: Plate immediately. Crack black pepper on top if desired.
