A simple yet iconic combo that shines “only” with top-quality ingredients. Bruschetta is effortless— but nail these steps, or it’s a flop. Growing up, this was my summer staple: ready in under 5 minutes, impossible to mess up. But pay attention—details matter!

Ingredients

– 4 slices Rustic bread (1.5cm thick) Slightly stale (2-3 days old)
– 250 g Cherry tomatoes Halved or quartered
– 1 clove Garlic Peeled for rubbing
– 3 tbsp Extra-virgin olive oil High quality, for dressing
– ½ tsp Salt
– ½ tsp Black pepper

Instructions

  1. Toast bread: Dry-toast in a pan, oven, or toaster until golden and crisp (no oil needed).
  2. Garlic rub: Cut garlic clove in half, rub gently on warm toast.
  3. Prep tomatoes:Halve or quarter cherry tomatoes. Mix with olive oil, salt, and pepper. Let sit 5 mins.
  4. Assemble & serve: Spoon tomatoes onto bread just before serving to keep bread crisp.Drizzle with extra oil if desired.
